THE PONDEROSA LODGE

Rock Garden

Enjoy and share the camaraderie of like-minded enthusiasts at the Ponderosa Lodge.  The Ponderosa Lodge and Colorado Fire Camp is not open to the general public.

The Ponderosa Lodge is at the base of the continental Divide off of Monarch Pass in the Rocky Mountains, within a rustic but charming environment.

The Ponderosa Lodge offers the luxury of Ride-In, Ride-Out set below 14,000 foot peaks.  On site meals with an all you can eat buffet style restaurant, cash bar, outdoor deck, a covered pavilion, an indoor swimming pool, horseshoe pits and a gas station down the street.  Lodging will be in Double Occupancy in rooms with 3 bunkbeds, each with it’s own full bathroom

We will have 2 dinners and 2 breakfasts at the Lodge, 2 meals on the trail.

Q: HOW FAR IS THE DRIVE TO THE SALIDA / MAYSVILLE AREA?

Maysville is located just west of Salida off Hwy 50 in South Central Colorado, on the eastern slope of Monarch Pass on the north side of HWY 50 off of County Road 240.  Approximately 3.75 hours southwest of Denver.  Fifteen miles west of Salida and 50 miles east of Gunnison.
